The Little Black Dress

Some women say it’s easy to find the little black dress (LBD). Is that really true? Oh well, as far as I know, it’s so hard to find anything that fits well. The fabric is usually cheap or it’s too short. And let me tell you I could keep going on and on about what they all complain about.

I do understand sometimes the frustrations (not that I wear a dress!) but there’s not a lot of cute dresses out there.
Women want to feel and look very sexy.

You MUST have one LBD in your wardrobe but “please ladies”!! don’t buy the first one that you try on or you see online. Look for options! (Did I tell you I’m also a huge fan of vintage dresses?)

I understand that it can be very exhausting and frustrating finding “the one” for that cocktail party you must attend over the weekend or impress that “guy” that you know will be there for sure. So think twice.

But let me tell you about some rules-a checklist if you must- that you need to ask yourself before you go out.

1.Do you feel sexy and sophisticated?
2.Is the fabric comfortable? If not.. NEXT!!!
3.Are the “girls” exposed? (Not over the top please)
4.Too short? Too long? (the safest solution is 1 cm above your knee)
5.Are you wearing a good bra and small underwear?
6.Do you need to accessorise? Perhaps a belt, a bracelet, earrings, necklace, etc (you don’t want to look like a Christmas tree) I am sure you will be able to judge for yourself
7.Are your shoes comfortable? ( I hate it when I see a beautiful woman at the end of the night carrying her shoes over her shoulders), excuse me…it DOES NOT belong there.
8.Do you have a nice clutch or a small bag?
9.Have you had your day of beauty? (you know.. eyebrows, legs and arms)
10.Is your hair, makeup and perfume appropriate for the occasion?
And for the final touch…. Go and see your best friend-“THE MIRROR”.

If you checked all those simple ten rules and you are confident, it means you are ready to rock!
