As much as I love Nike running shoes, I would never expect to find these little numbers at a fashion event. I have never seen them before and I must say… they needed to be photographed.
So girls… are you in love with these shoes?

WOW! Fair play for pulling these off, would be good to see the whole outfit that went with the shoes. In all honesty, she can pull them off, but I couldn’t! – WMS.

Can’t say I’m in love but they don’t look like a disaster either. In difficult times fashion’s always outrageous, you know, and that’s good.
Maybe couple of years ago I’d have said they should keep sportswear out of high fashion, but then Karl Lagerfeld started designing for Nike, MqQueen for Puma and Jeremy Scott for Adidas. But these were mostly sneakers, so I’d say that these Nike heels are rather suffering some kind of identity crisis.
Not my cup of tea but they sure will get everyone’s attention which I think is the main point of them – to get people talking about the brand.

I have a very funny feeling about this, Lee!! I was just talking about how I think sneaker wedges are going to be really hot, but I had no idea it was going to be this wild! Good snaps

I don’t think high-heeled sports shoes of any kind are every a good idea, but kudos to her for having the courage to wear these. I have seen far worse though. I remember when the high-heeled first emerged a few years ago with a chunkier heel.

OMG. I don’t think these work as a sporty heel or a runner. Two thumbs down (although I love Nike in general). Man. What a crazy shoe!

The high heeled sneaker was super disco in the 70s and resurfaced in the early 80s. So funny that this time around it’s with a stiletto. Guess that reflects the zeitgeist of the times. Sexy but sporty–haha! Great pic!

Well, sportswear is definitely a trend, albeit in subtle colours this season. These flashy numbers are a little in-your-face. I wonder what she was wearing on top. Would be interesting to see the rest of her outfit.
