Beauty, sexuality and desire are some of the words that I would use to describe the work of one of my favourite labels “Christian Dior”.
Dior’s first collection was in 1947 called “Corolle” meaning (circlet of flower petal), the idea he had in mind was to create “flower women”- with beautiful shapes and silhouettes.

Throughout the years, Christian Dior has made a massive impact in the fashion world and still does so today. The House of Mr Dior is run by one of the most influential designers, John Galliano.
I don’t know where to start when describing the talent of John Galliano. Born in Gilbraltar in 1960, the British designer grew up in London and attended St Martin’s College of Art and Design, where he graduated in 1984. Along with Alexander McQueen, he won numerous awards when they both worked at Givenchy.
Every time that I see his collection online I say to myself “nobody will beat that collection” but every year Galliano brings new inspiration.
His first couture show for Dior coincided with the label’s 50th anniversary in 1997. Cate Blanchett and Nicole Kidman are some of the celebrities that frequently wear his dresses.
I have created and styled these photographs to show you no matter who you are, simply holding a “Black oversized Dior clutch”-makes any woman have an attitude that we always see on Dior’s catwalk shows.
Like Galliano says…“My role is to seduce”…and seduce he does!
