I have been a long time fan of Alex Perry and always wanted to find someone in a Perry dress to put on my blog.
I contacted Alex and asked him if I could pop into the store and photograph one of his girls. He said “sure Lee” so off I went, camera in hand. There I found the beautiful Maria who was happy for me to photograph her.

After a long and agonizing elimination process, I chose this gorgeous dusty pink dress for Maria. From there, we stopped by my friends at Chanel who did her make up and off we went to the Park for some quick shots.
I thought this dress was so pretty with the crystal and feather detail. Thanks to the slight breeze, I was really happy with the way I captured the moment.
Maria, you have it all! True beauty, stunning dress and shoes to die for.

Beautiful photography Lee!!! I like how the shoes throw a twist in the picture. They are not “matchy matchy” and that is a sign of non-conformity that I love!!!
This is such a gorgeous dress – I totally can see why you’d want to photograph it! I admit, I’m not familiar with Alex Perry but he is certainly very talented! I want to see more of his stuff!

Oh sigh…. that dress is divine! Alex Perry knows how to design for women… Maria looks divine. That last photo is just brilliant!
…not a fan of the shoes though… they detract not complement. Edgy shoes would have been great, something studded and/or spiked to offset the absolute girliness of this dress. I do love Terry Biviano’s shoes (she’s Australia’s Tamara Mellon!!) but this is messy!
