Between the madness of Pitti Uomo in Florence and then Men’s Fashion Week in Milan and Paris, I’ve finally had the time the write this post. Mid last month just before Pitti Uomo I was invited by Luisa via Roma in Florence to attend their biannual Firenz4ever event. The event was so good. The team totally looked after us and I think I ate my entire body weight in food. Not very fashionable I know, but I guess I’m a little different to your average Joe in the fashion industry. During the event there is an opportunity to attend the style labs. These involve styling, photography or if like you can actually be photographed using all the pieces from the store. As you can image, the store is huge so there seemed to be an endless supply of opportunities.
I chose to style and photography my gal pal, Tina Craig a.k.a the bagsnob herself. If you don’t know Tina’s blog and you are a super bag lady (pardon the pun) you have been living under a rock. You know when you hear those stories about those people who start blogs and make a extremely successful career out of it. Well Tina is definitely up there with the best of them. Anyway, lets not bang on about Tina for to long. Her story is a whole other blog post.
We jumped in a car and headed for the Tuscan country side. Amazing and the first time I had left the confines of the city centre of Florence. We ended up at the house owned by the Roberto Cavalli and thats where I took these shots. As you can image, the grounds were slightly extravagant and there was an abundance of backdrops. I wanted to take Tina slightly out of her comfort zone and these are the looks I created for her. FYI, the white backpack in the 3rd pic was designed by Tina herself.

My friends at Valentino have given me all access to share the live stream on my site. I just arrived in Paris this evening so I am all hyped for the show. The men’s show will take place at the Hotel Salomon De Rothschild here in Paris. It’s the former residence of the Rothchild family. Yes, it’s the same Rothchild from the banking family in France. The building was constructed between 1872 and 1878. As you can image, it’s grand in every way and amazing to visit.
Check out the times below and scream out if you see me among the audience.

So, it’s that time of the year again when it’s all about Men’s Fashion. I’m currently in one of my favourite cities in the world, Florence. If you have been here, you know exactly what I’m talking about. The Pitti Uomo trade show kicked off today and all those dapper gents were out and about. The Italian guys really make the effort when it comes to fashion.
Those of you that follow me on Instagram know that I like to share my favourite images there. This time, I have the honour of taking over the MatchesFashion.com Instagram account. I will be publishing there live, as it happens in Florence. Milan and Paris. I have a feeling that Matches have been tracking me on their website as I have been silently stalking and buying for a while now.
If you love men’s street style at Fashion Week, jump onto Instagram now and follow @matches_man and leave some comments as I post there if you love what you see.
